Robin Snook  -  Counsellor

Thank you for visiting my profile.

 My background

Having worked for a number of private companies across the West Country (where I’m from) in various capacities, I joined the charity sector in 2007.

I then worked for a variety of charities focussing on; community development, human rights, homelessness, disability, drug and alcohol dependence and mental health.

In 2016, I qualified as a counsellor and began work in both private practice and with agencies providing therapeutic support services.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)

My approach to counselling

I am an Integrative therapist, which allows me to draw on a broad range of techniques, therapeutic tools and approaches to respond to the individual needs of each client.

Having successfully worked with a wide diversity of male and female clients I have developed a personal approach as a counsellor which has resulted in very high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Trauma – related to violence, accidents, ill health

  • Experience of sexual abuse

  • Experience of drug and alcohol dependence

  • Bereavement / grief
