Physio-Yoga
Physio-Yoga is a unique approach to rehabilitation that integrates Yoga principles and practices into Physiotherapy, supporting a whole-person approach to your rehabilitation experience.
As a Physiotherapist also trained in Yoga principles and practices, one can apply a blend of both to a specific health concern or dysfunction and offer a safe and evidence-informed approach to rehabilitation, using a whole-person framework that promotes patient self-empowerment and healing.
Following initial assessment, sessions may include, manual/exercise therapy, postures, breath work, relaxation techniques, mindfulness, advice and education.
In addition, a home yoga practice/home exercise programme, according to the needs of the individual, will be created and through continual assessment, appropriately adjusted.
(No previous Yoga experience is required)
