Move With Joy In Your Heart

As a G.O.s.C registered Osteopath and qualified Pilates instructor my motivation is to help you find your optimum health and vitality through osteopathy and movement. My approach to both these practices is gentle and patient-centered to allow for your mind and body to adjust to subtle changes, with the ultimate goal of moving joyfully. I take time to listen and understand what you and your body are telling me and will provide you with an individual osteopathic treatment and management plan best suited to your needs. This will support and facilitate your body’s natural healing processes, enabling your body to realise its potential health more fully.

About me

My passion for health and fitness led me to train as a Pilates instructor whilst I was working in the corporate sector, where I regularly volunteered in health and wellness promotional roles. Once qualified, I worked closely with various medical practitioners, chiropractors and physiotherapists, witnessing first hand how the combination of manual therapy and Pilates was key to long-term stability, flexibility and sustained well-being. Observing the benefits to patients of this dynamic combination inspired me to fulfill my dream of becoming an Osteopath.

Choosing to study a four-year (full time) Masters degree at the renowned European School of Osteopathy (ESO) was the perfect choice for me: it supported my particular interest in cranial and pediatric osteopathy. The Osteopathic curriculum offered two years of cranial training and the opportunity to train and work in the ESO’s infant and children's clinic, which was a highly valued experience. Alongside the curriculum I spent additional time in the headache and chronic pain clinics, further benefiting my understanding of the mind-body connection.

I enjoy working with a whole spectrum of patients from newborns through all ages. I also have an interest in working with those who are dealing with chronic health challenges and/or post viral fatigue and wish to bring exercise back into their lives. Common problems my patients are faced with are: neck and back ache, headaches, frozen shoulder, sciatica, fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, long COVID, tennis and golfer's elbow, arthritis, foot problems including bunions and pain related to these.

I believe my own health journey, injury rehabilitation and many years of martial arts, weight- and gymnastics training further benefit my service and commitment to you. My personalised treatment protocol and management plans include focusing on calming and breathing techniques and encouraging exercise and meditation. I am also a fully insured and properly trained @vitb12shot and electrotherapy and ultrasound technician.
