Caroline Elliott
I am an experienced psychotherapist and aim to support individuals to overcome barriers that inhibit their emotional growth, such as negative, destructive and compulsive behaviours including addictions. Also those who may be experiencing relationship problems, difficulties managing emotional upheaval, anxiety and depression.
The process of psychotherapy can help us understand how symptoms are formed and develop into psychological problems and offers an opportunity to make changes to live a more healthy and happy life.
I have a particular interest in the affect of childhood experience on psychological development and work with an analytic approach to therapy alongside creative models such as the exploration of dreams. I am also able to offer CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Mindfulness which can help diffuse negativity, aggression and turbulent emotions.
