Vikki Jones
Vikki has worked in the fitness industry since qualifying in 1998 as a gym instructor and aerobics instructor. She then used these skills working on a cruise ship in Alaska and the Caribbean, and on her return to the UK became a full-time gym instructor at the Bexhill Leisure Centre.
While working in Bexhill she qualified in kick aerobics, Fitness Assessments & Health Appraisals and Body Massage, gaining vital knowledge with which to look after her client base. Vikki was then offered a position as Gym Manager in New Romney, Kent, where she worked for five years before leaving to start a family. During that time, she took further qualifications in Sports Massage and Rehabilitation, G.P. Referrals, Adapted Physical Activity for the Disabled Person and Modern Pilates Matwork Instructor. In 2007 Vikki gained her Ante & Post-Natal Pilates qualification.
Vikki has been teaching Pilates since 2004, offering a highly personalised service taking into account not just common general aches and pains (i.e. an aching back), but is able to offer recommendations and alternatives to each individual.
Vikki is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, Advanced Level 3 and a Member of the International Council of Health, Fitness & Sports Therapists.
