Reflexology

Reflexology is a time-honored healing practice from the East, cherished for centuries for its ability to bring balance to both body and mind. This gentle, deeply relaxing, and non-invasive therapy is safe for everyone, making it suitable for the entire family.

The core idea behind reflexology is that our bodies are interconnected by energy pathways that end in the hands, feet, and head. By applying focused massage and stimulation to specific reflex points, treatments release tension and blockages so energy can flow freely throughout the body.

This flow of energy positively impacts our organs and systems, promoting deep relaxation and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.

Here’s how reflexology can help:

  • Calm the mind: Experience deep relaxation, ease mental tension, reduce stress, and restore inner peace.

  • Lift the spirit: Feel rejuvenated, balance your energy, uplift your mood, and enhance emotional well-being.

  • Heal the body: Support natural immunity, relieve pain, boost circulation, and restore overall vitality.

Reflexology is also known to support fertility by influencing hormone levels and helping to regulate the menstrual cycle and ovulation.

During pregnancy, reflexology can be especially beneficial. It has been traditionally used to encourage breech babies to turn between 34 and 36 weeks, with a high success rate. After 37 weeks, this success decreases, so starting a course of six treatments around 32 weeks with our reflexologist is recommended to maximise the benefits and support a healthy, natural labor.

Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, help with a persistent health issue, or simply a moment of relaxation, reflexology can offer the support you need.
