Menopause Yoga: Dealing with Anxiety, Overwhelm & Fatigue

Come join me for this 3 hour session which will include a chance to learn a little more about the transition into perimenopause & menopause, and how we can best nurture ourselves through this process.
This will include a 90 minute yoga practice to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, overwhelm and fatigue, commonly experienced by women during this time. Even without being menopausal we can experience these feelings, but they are exacerbated by fluctuating and declining hormones, which can have sometimes severe impacts on our mental health.
The main benefit of yoga during this time is to reduce stress, which can intensify symptoms.
We’ll also hold a women’s circle to share and discuss our experiences, whatever stage you are at.
I’d also like to acknowledge that although for many women this stage of life can present challenges, it is also a wonderful transition that should be honoured and celebrated. In our culture it is quite the contrary, being considered a taboo for many years, and keeping women in the dark about what they might expect and how best to prepare themselves
This will be a safe and nurturing space where all is welcome. It aims to empower you with knowledge and tools to support you during this stage of life.
